Windex As A Spot Treatment
So I tried windex the other day for a zit, mostly out of curiosity. I was watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and let’s be honest, I just decided it was a good idea, or at least and interesting idea. Yes, I’ve done the research too, and it can damage the skin. But being me, I wanted to see for myself what it could do. Well, as it turns out it does work. You still have to cover it with makeup, because it turns into this spot that’s flat instead of this big huge puffed up zit.
But I honestly felt it along the way, and it was ridiculous. I mean I could literally feel it going down, burning a little, tingling a little. I guess that’s how toothpaste works too. But I was surprised in some ways, even though I technically shouldn’t be. And frankly, I’ve heard the whole thing about the tingling being a minor cry out of pain from your skin, which is probably true. It’s not something I’ll ever do again. I find that Neosporin works just as well to reduce the inflammation and it doesn’t cause future scars and even stops scarring. But the best spot treatment is one that is actually meant to fight acne, because Neosporin for sure doesn’t fight the bacteria and stuff.
